Are we experiencing “Nostalgia of the Future”? With COVID-19, our plans were cancelled or put on hold, and what we knew as our next steps are over. This feeling is turning into a trend called “Nostalgia of the Future,“ where we regard the memories we used to have and our wish for “what‘s next.” The concept was created by journalist Vanda Jorge, editor of Ecoolhunter by ECO, and presented during the first edition of the “Cool Hunting Society” in Lisbon.
Vanda invited us to be part of the first edition of this immersive session into trends and analysis of consumption behavior, dedicated to an audience of decision makers and cool hunters from the Portuguese market. For this opportunity, our Head of Research, Livia Pinent, was present to introduce an exclusive sneak peek at “The State of Presence Report: A study of the European innovation ecosystem about the ‘new normal‘ and the new opportunities of innovation within a scenario of uncertainty and crisis.”
Everything is uncertain and changing so fast. All we can do right now is be aware of our surroundings and listen carefully to others. And this is what we did during a lovely morning in Lisbon. Thank you, Vanda, and all the cool hunters who were there, present and aware, and shared their experiences!
